Window washing service has begun as of Wednesday, September 9th. Ultra Building Services started at the southwest corner of the building.

Please note that dates are subject to change due to weather, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Residents are reminded to keep their windows closed while washing is being performed on their stack.

NEW BARBECUE GRILLS COMING SOON
We’re pleased to share that the community’s barbecue grills will soon be replaced with a new, upgraded grills designed to provide residents with a more reliable and enjoyable outdoor cooking experience. As part of the upgrade, the existing glow-plug ignition system will be replaced with a spark ignition system, which should provide more reliable ignition and improved performance in the high-wind conditions experienced at Savina. The new grills will also include extended warranty coverage, replacement components, and complimentary training for the maintenance team to help ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
A special thank you to the Amenity Committee for all of their time, effort, and thoughtful work in helping bring this improvement to the community. We truly appreciate everyone who contributed to making this upgrade possible and look forward to residents enjoying the new barbecues!
TRANSIT UPDATE: FASTER AIRPORT SERVICE & FUTURE CONNECTIONS
Transit Updates: MTS has increased service on the 992 airport bus, which now runs every 15 minutes (up from every 20 minutes), making trips to and from San Diego International Airport more convenient. SANDAG is also continuing its Airport Transit Connection study, which is evaluating future trolley and automated people-mover options between downtown and the airport.
WHOLE FOODS MARKET OPENS IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO
Downtown San Diego is getting a new grocery destination! Whole Foods Market will officially open its doors on September 23 at 201 W. A Street. The new 45,400-square-foot location will offer fresh produce, specialty foods, bakery and prepared foods, along with a coffee and juice bar and more than 1,500 products from California-based suppliers. Opening day begins at 9 a.m., giving downtown residents and visitors a new convenient option for fresh, local and specialty groceries.
MONDAY HOLIDAY REMINDER
A reminder that Yom Kippur will be observed on Monday, September 21. No moves, deliveries, or improvement work are permitted to take place on this day. Workers may not access the community for these activities, so please plan any moves, deliveries, or projects accordingly.

TRASH & RECYCLING REMINDER
Please remember that the main trash and recycling bins are located on P1. Items that do not fit in the trash or recycling chutes must be taken directly to the appropriate bins. Please do not leave items in the trash chutes, floor trash rooms, or around the bins.
All cardboard boxes must be broken down before being placed in the appropriate recycling bin. Thank you for helping keep our trash areas clean and clear!
CRSSD FESTIVAL RETURNS TO WATERFRONT PARK
Waterfront Park should expect increased activity in and around the waterfront as CRSSD Festival returns September 26–27. The two-day music festival will bring large crowds to the area, with doors opening at noon each day and peak arrival times expected between approximately 4 and 6 p.m. Residents should plan for heavier traffic, increased pedestrian activity, and greater demand for parking throughout the weekend. Waterfront Park will be closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday, with limited access beginning during event setup and continuing through breakdown.
BICYCLE ROOMS AT SAVINA
Residents are encouraged to use the keypad bike room for bicycles that are actively ridden, whether daily, weekly, or monthly. This helps keep the space convenient and accessible for those who regularly enjoy cycling.
If your bicycle has not been used in a year or more, please consider relocating it to the garage bike room in the commercial parking area. Your cooperation is appreciated and helps support fellow residents who rely on easy access to their bicycles.

Each year, the Association distributes several important documents to homeowners, including the annual disclosures and budget packet and the financial review. These documents can total numerous pages, resulting in significant costs for printing, envelopes, and postage. By opting to receive these documents via email, you can help the Association reduce these expenses while also receiving important Association information quickly and conveniently.

OKTOBERFEST HAPPY HOUR
Come join your neighbors for an Oktoberfest Happy Hour on Wednesday, October 7th, from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Social Lounge. Beer, brats and bites will be provided, and non-alcoholic beer will also be available.
Maximum of 2 adults per unit. A $10 per person deposit is required to reserve your spot. The deposit will be refunded when you attend the event. If you are a no-show or cancel after September 18th, the deposit will be forfeited. Please bring a $10 check per person to the front desk to confirm your reservation. Owners may choose to charge the deposit to their account on the registration form. Please RSVP by Friday, September 18th.

Earth, Wind & Fire-Civic Theatre-September 19
Technically, “the 21st of September” doesn’t arrive until Monday, but any concert from Earth, Wind & Fire is certainly cause for celebration. The legendary group is still carrying its legacy of love, soul, and R&B brilliance more than five decades after its formation. Experience the jubilant rhythms of the band’s greatest, most danceable hits when they play the Civic Theatre this Saturday (8 p.m.). Tickets start at $138 for this concert.

Adams Avenue Street Fair-Normal Heights-September 19-20
There is nothing normal, or ordinary, about Normal Heights’ eclectic Adams Avenue Street Fair, where 75 artists will perform this Saturday (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). At this free annual festival, attendees can catch sets at six music stages, featuring DJs, blues, roots rock, indie, rock n’ roll, and groove-heavy acts. Festivalgoers can also check out carnival rides, three beer gardens, and 300 arts, crafts, and retail exhibitors. Adams Avenue from 32nd Street to 36th Street
San Diego Padres vs Miami Marlins-Petco Park- Sept 18-20th
The San Diego Padres return home for a weekend set against the Miami Marlins. The Padres have been scorching hot as of late, winning 10 of their last 11 games to firm up their hold on the final NL Wild Card spot. They’re also now just a game back of the Cubs and Phillies. Miami is also putting together some decent wins, with series victories against the Dodgers and Diamondbacks.
