REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11
This September 11, we pause to remember the lives lost and the courage displayed during the events of 9/11. We honor the victims, first responders, and countless individuals whose strength and resilience helped our nation heal in the aftermath of that tragic day.
As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, may we also recognize the enduring spirit of unity, compassion, and service that emerged during one of our country’s most challenging moments.

WELCOME ALEX LEFLEUR TO THE TEAM!
Please join us in welcoming Alex Lefleur to the team at Savina! Originally from Chicago, Alex recently made the move to sunny San Diego and is already enjoying everything Southern California has to offer. A dedicated fitness enthusiast, he has traded city workouts for scenic beach runs and is embracing the coastal lifestyle.
Alex is excited to begin this new chapter and looks forward to building a long-term career with us. He is eager to contribute, grow professionally, and become a valued member of the team for years to come.
Alex will be serving as our Access Control Officer (ACO) and will be on-site Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Residents will have the opportunity to see him around the community as he assists with access control, resident support, and maintaining a welcoming environment. We are thrilled to have Alex on board!
FITNESS ROOM UPDATE: EXPRESSO BIKE
The screen on the Expresso bike will be removed next Tuesday for repairs. The bike will also be temporarily removed from the fitness room until the repaired screen is returned to us. Once the screen is back, we will put the bike back together and return it to the fitness room. Thank you for your patience while we have this taken care of.
ARCHITECTURAL APPROVALS REQUIRED
Planning a home improvement project? If you are considering custom built-ins, cabinetry, closet systems, or other permanent improvements to your residence, please remember that these projects require prior approval from the Design Review Committee (ARC) before work begins. This includes installations such as California Closets and other permanent fixtures or alterations to the unit.
In addition, any new HVAC installation or modifications must receive ARC approval before work is performed. These requirements help ensure that improvements comply with the Association’s governing documents and building standards. If you are unsure whether your project requires approval, please contact Management before moving forward.
PARKING GARAGE SAFETY REMINDER
For everyone’s safety, please remember that the maximum speed limit in the parking garage is 5 miles per hour. Blind spots are present throughout the garage, so drivers are encouraged to use the convex mirrors, especially when exiting to access Kettner Blvd.
Maintaining awareness of pedestrians is essential. For added visibility, consider keeping your headlights on while driving through the garage to help ensure that both drivers and pedestrians can see one another.
Thank you for helping us keep the parking garage safe for everyone!
BICYCLE ROOMS AT SAVINA
Residents are encouraged to use the keypad bike room for bicycles that are actively ridden, whether daily, weekly, or monthly. This helps keep the space convenient and accessible for those who regularly enjoy cycling.
If your bicycle has not been used in a year or more, please consider relocating it to the garage bike room in the commercial parking area. Your cooperation is appreciated and helps support fellow residents who rely on easy access to their bicycles.

By opting to receive these documents via email, you can help the Association reduce these expenses while also receiving important Association information quickly and conveniently.
Signing up is quick and easy!
1. Log in to the homeowner portal.
- Select Property Info from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Locate Consent for Email Distribution on the right-hand side.
- Click the pencil icon to edit your preference and provide your consent to receive Association disclosures electronically.
