SWING INTO SPRING AT OUR BRUNCH CELEBRATION- SOCIAL LOUNGE

Join us for our “Swing into Spring Brunch” on Sunday, April 19th, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Social Lounge. Enjoy light bites, refreshing mimosas, and great company as we celebrate the start of the season together. Each unit may bring up to two adults, and families are welcome to include their young children. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP by April 14th to help us plan accordingly and ensure there is plenty of brunch and bubbles for everyone.

A QUICK REMINDER ABOUT PARKING: IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Please make sure your vehicle is parked completely within your assigned space and not extending into neighboring spots. When a car sticks out, it can make it harder for others to park and move around safely in the garage. If your vehicle is too large to fit within the lines, you may need to look for a more appropriate parking option within the community.

We are also currently auditing the parking garage to confirm which vehicles are assigned to each space. You may see staff walking through and writing down vehicle information; this is part of that process. We will be reaching out if any updates are needed, but you can also save time by logging into your resident portal and updating your vehicle information there. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep the parking area safe, organized, and easy to use for all residents.

HALLWAY SWINGS – CLEANING NOTICE

The cushions from the hallway swings located on the 4th floor will be temporarily removed for cleaning. The staff will take the cushions the morning of Thursday, April 16th and will return them by noon on Friday, April 17th. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep your community clean and comfortable for all residents.

HOMEOWNERS: YOU’RE INVITED TO SAVINA’S TOWNHALL MEETING ON APRIL 15

We warmly invite all owners to join the Townhall Meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Social Lounge. You are welcome to attend either in person or via Zoom.

KEEPING YOUR TRASH ROOMS CLEAN & PEST-FREE

To help maintain cleanliness and prevent pests in your shared trash rooms, all residents are required to properly contain food and organic waste before disposal. In San Diego, plastic bags, including those labeled “compostable” or “biodegradable”, are not permitted in organics bins and can contaminate the waste stream.

Instead, food scraps should be placed in paper bags, wrapped in newspaper or paper towels, or securely contained before being disposed of. Properly handling organic waste is especially important in our warm climate, as loose food can quickly lead to odors, maggots, and other pests. Taking a moment to dispose of waste correctly helps keep your community clean and comfortable for all.

BOOTS IN THE PARK

Boots in the Park will bring large crowds and increased activity to Waterfront Park, and residents should plan for road closures and parking limitations. Streets near the venue may be partially or fully closed before, during, and after the event to accommodate pedestrian traffic and event operations.

Additionally, sound checks are typically conducted in the days leading up to the festival and on the morning of the event, which may result in elevated noise levels for nearby residents and businesses. We recommend planning extra travel time.

While it may be a bit noisy and crowded, the event brings live music, dancing, food, and activities for the whole community to enjoy.

PROPOSED NAVY SEAL MUSEUM AT LANE FIELD

A $256 million Navy SEAL Museum is proposed for 1220 Pacific Highway, along the San Diego waterfront near the Grande South. The four-story, 85,000-square-foot museum would honor the U.S. Navy’s maritime special operations forces and feature seven galleries, educational spaces, a cafe, retail areas, and an event terrace. At 65 feet tall (roughly six to seven stories) it will be taller than nearby structures like the Lane Field Marriott garage. The developers will present the project at the Port of San Diego Board meeting on April 21. If approved, construction could begin in 2029, with the museum opening in 2031–2032 as a major new attraction on the North Embarcadero.
