NOTICE OF TOWN HALL MEETING: 25% RENTAL CAP
Owners, please Save the Date for an upcoming town hall meeting to discuss the topic of a potential rental cap at Savina.

Location: Savina Social Lounge or Zoom. This meeting will be recorded.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide owners with an opportunity to learn about the potential benefits and challenges of implementing a rental cap. This is an informational session intended to foster open dialog and allow owners to ask questions before the Board determines whether pursuing a rental cap is in the best interest of the association.
We are pleased to welcome Sidnev “Sid” Muldrow, a trusted San Diego real estate advisor. Sid will provide industry insight and discuss how rental caps can impact condominium communities, property values, and marketability. Whether you support the idea, oppose it, or simply want to learn more, we encourage all owners to attend and participate in the conversation.

GO PAPERLESS – SAVE MONEY AND HELP YOUR ASSOCIATION
Did you know you can receive your monthly assessment statement electronically instead of by mail?
By enrolling in eStatements through the homeowner portal, you will receive your assessment statement faster, have convenient access to your records anytime, and help reduce costs for the Association.
Currently, printing and mailing a paper statement costs the Association approximately $2.00 per statement, plus postage, while delivering the same statement electronically costs $0.50. As printing and mailing expenses continue to increase, every resident who switches to eStatements helps reduce unnecessary operating costs.
Signing up is quick and easy! Simply log into the homeowner portal and access the “Statements” section. From there, click “Manage eStatements”.

KEEPING SAVINA CLEAN, ONE PAW AT A TIME
As a reminder, we ask that residents take their dogs away from the immediate building entrances and walkways when allowing them to relieve themselves.
While pet waste should always be picked up and disposed of properly, urine can leave lingering odors on sidewalks and planters. By walking your dog a little farther from the building before they relieve themselves, odors are less likely to accumulate in high-traffic areas where residents, guests, and potential buyers enter and exit every day. This simple step helps keep entryways fresher and reduces unpleasant smells. Thank you!
PLEASE BREAK DOWN YOUR BOXES!
A quick reminder to all residents: please break down cardboard boxes before placing them in the recycling bins.
Flattening boxes helps maximize available space inside the bins, prevents overflow, and keeps the recycling area organized and accessible for everyone. Large, unbroken boxes can quickly fill containers, leaving less room for other recyclables and creating unnecessary clutter around the collection area.
WOOD REPAIRS NOTICE: STRONG ODORS EXPECTED
Please be advised that IRX will be performing wood repairs on the 3rd and 8th floors on Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12. During this work, there will be noticeable odors from the products being used. These odors may travel through the building, including elevator lobbies and common areas.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain and improve our community.
POOL USE REMINDER
As a friendly reminder, everyone plays a part in keeping the pool clean, safe, and enjoyable for all residents.
Children who are not toilet-trained and anyone who is incontinent must wear a properly fitted swim diaper or special swim trunks designed for water use. Regular cloth or disposable diapers are not permitted. If you have any questions, please contact Management.
GIVE YOUR UNUSED BIKE A SECOND LIFE
If you have a bike that you no longer use or wish to keep, this is a great opportunity to help us clear out the bike room while supporting a meaningful cause.
We will be scheduling a bike donation pickup with the Veterans Thrift Store for Monday, August 31st. Your donation can help someone in need while creating more space for your neighbors and keeping the community bike rooms organized. Every bike donated has a positive impact!

WATERFRONT PARK EVENT
Please be advised that the Cross Pollination Music Festival will take place at Waterfront Park on Sunday, August 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event is expected to welcome approximately 6,500 to 7,500 attendees, so residents should anticipate increased activity in the surrounding area.
In preparation for the festival, temporary parking restrictions and traffic impacts will be in effect beginning Thursday, August 6, through Tuesday, August 11, as event organizers set up and dismantle the venue. Residents may also hear music during scheduled sound checks in the days leading up to the event.
Event organizers are working closely with the City of San Diego, the Port of San Diego, and local public safety agencies to help ensure the event is safe and well-managed while minimizing impacts on the surrounding neighborhood.

2026 San Diego Brew Fest-Liberty Station-August 8th Noon-4pm
Over 70 breweries, 200 beers, food trucks, lawn games, and cover bands. The 14th annual San Diego Beer Fest returns to NTC Park, promising another fun filled day with beer, food trucks, and music. The event will feature dozens of local local and international craft beers, as well as San Diego’s most popular food trucks (food sold separately). Admission is $50 for general admission (1pm to 4pm) and $65 for Early Admission (noon to 4pm). Both include unlimited beer tastings, with Early Admission offering an added hour, and specialty pours during the first hour .
