POOL & SPA CLOSURE NOTICE: MAY 18–22

Please be advised that the entire pool and spa area will be closed from Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22. During this time, both the pool and spa will be drained and refilled as part of necessary maintenance to address Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels and ensure optimal water quality and safety.

For safety reasons, the entire pool/spa area will be closed while these works are underway. With the water removed, there is a risk of falls or injury, so access to the area will not be permitted during this period.

Please note that the fire pit located within the pool/spa area will also be unavailable for use during this time. The barbecue area will remain open and available for resident use. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we complete this important maintenance.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Management at 619-255-1204 or agalindo@actionlife.com

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this maintenance is completed.

NOTICE OF TOWN HALL MEETING: CONSTRUCTION DEFECT CLAIM

Town Hall Date: May 20, 2026

Location: Savina Social Lounge & Zoom

Call to Order: 6:00 p.m.

The Savina Condominium Owners Association (“Association”) will convene a town hall meeting 6:00 p.m. on May 20, 2026, in the Savina Social Lounge, to discuss the Association’s pending construction defect claim against the developer of the project, Bosa Development California II, Inc. (“Developer”). If you are unable to attend in person, this town hall meeting can also be accessed via Zoom.

All homeowners are welcome, and encouraged, to attend this town hall meeting.

Counsel for the Association will:

  1. Provide the membership with a preliminary summary of the Association’s experts’ findings;
  2. Provide a status report regarding the current status of the construction defect claim;
  3. Provide a timeline of upcoming events in the claim; and
  4. Answer any questions posed by the membership.

Should you have questions or require any further information regarding this town hall, please contact Fenton & Grant via telephone at (800) 238-0625 or via email to savina@fentongrant.com.

COMING SOON: LOBBY SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE TRIAL

Beginning on May 21, the Association will be launching a six-day trial of a signature fragrance in the lobby designed to enhance the welcoming atmosphere and overall resident experience. Carefully selected ambient scenting is often used in luxury properties to create a warm, sophisticated environment while supporting a sense of comfort and relaxation. Research shows that scent is closely tied to emotion and memory, helping shape positive first impressions and a stronger sense of place.

During the trial period, residents will receive a QR code, which will take you to a Google Forms survey to share feedback and impressions. We encourage everyone to participate!

BACK LOBBY WIPE/TRASH STATION UPDATE

The wipe/trash holder located in the back lobby (near the railroad tracks) is scheduled to be removed by May 22. This decision is based on limited use, along with ongoing issues related to improper disposal of regular trash, which has led to unpleasant odors in the area. If you have concerns about its removal, please contact Carlos Mayes at cmayes@actionlife.com.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We’re looking for volunteers to help support our community by serving on the Rules, Amenities, and Finance Committees! Committee members play an important role in helping review ideas, provide input, and keeping Savina running smoothly. Whether you have experience in these areas or simply want to get more involved, we’d love to have you participate. If you’re interested in volunteering for one of these committees, please email Alma Galindo at Agalindo@actionlife.com for a Committee Interest Form. Your time and involvement are always appreciated!

PET/BIKE WASH DOOR

We’re pleased to announce that the pet/bike wash door will be accessible by swiping your fob and not having to call the Front Desk. This is effective immediately and on a trial basis. The space was previously kept locked due to repeated instances where the area was left unclean after use, creating challenges for fellow residents and staff. We kindly ask all pet owners to help keep the pet wash clean and tidy after each visit by properly disposing of waste, wiping down surfaces, and leaving the area ready for the next resident. Your cooperation will help ensure this amenity remains easily accessible to everyone.

4TH FLOOR CONSTRUCTION – WALL LEADING TO SPA & FITNESS CENTER

We would like to inform residents that Proform will be on-site beginning Wednesday, May 20, through Tuesday, May 26 (excluding Memorial Day). During this time, they will be redoing the drywall and wallpaper on the wall leading to the spa and fitness rooms as part of a rework of their previous installation.

There is nothing residents need to do in preparation for this work. We simply ask that you be aware of Proform’s presence in the area. Thank you!

UPCOMING LOBBY & RAMP AREA DEEP CLEANING

The lobby will be deep cleaned nightly from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., June 1–4. Please expect temporary cleaning activity during these hours. Additionally, the ramp area near the EV charging stations will be cleaned overnight on May 28. Residents charging vehicles between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. will not be able to access the building through the mail room entrance and should use an alternate entry.

BEFORE YOU RENOVATE: IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE

We understand homeowners often look forward to making improvements or upgrades to their units. However, because the community is currently in the Construction Defect (CD) claim process, it may best to wait before starting any modifications inside your unit.

Until the claim is resolved and the repair scope is finalized, any changes could be affected by future work. For example, if repairs are needed behind walls or in areas you have upgraded, those improvements might need to be removed or altered, potentially at your expense.

Pausing for now helps avoid unnecessary costs and ensures your upgrades won’t interfere with required repairs. Please contact us if you have any questions.
